Please publish somewhere else

Wikipedia wouldn't allow this sort of file to be added, and I think the reasoning applies to APL Wiki as well.

  • Contributions to APL Wiki are considered anonymous: readers shouldn't have to dive into the file history to check (and trust?) usernames. So you're making the unverifiable assertion that this file constitutes Dyalog's RFE 9458 (and my understanding is that RFEs are bugs logged in the issue tracker so I don't see how this can be the case).
  • It's original or primary source material, which confuses the wiki's role as a tertiary source.
  • Content here is supposed to be editable by anyone. A pdf isn't; the description is, but you don't want it to be.

This file, and the claim of authorship, date, and RFE status, should be published on a site that fits that use. There are a lot of places that should work. Try Github or the Dyalog forums, or contact Dyalog about putting it up somewhere. --Marshall (talk) 22:26, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
